Siam City Cement, Thailand’s second largest cement producer by sales, Thursday reported a 19% drop in second quarter earnings on lower sales.
 
Net profit for the April-June quarter fell to THB768m from THB947.1m in the same quarter of last year, according to the company’s unaudited financial statements.
 
Sales revenue in the quarter dropped to THB5.27bn from THB5.74bn a year earlier.
