The two production lines are to be attached with pure low-temperature waste heat recovery for power generation project and will cover a land of 33.33ha. Jidong Cement will set up a Bishan-based company for the project.
Besides, Jidong Cement singed an agreement with the Bishan government on the project. And if the new firm cannot get rights to use the land and to explore and exploit related mine before December 31, or cannot gain approval for the project, or reserves of the mine or tenor of the reserves are not qualified for the project, Jidong Cement has the right to unilaterally terminate the agreement.
Jidong Cement previously said that it intended to build a clinker production line with daily capacity of 4500t in Pingshan County of Southwest China with CNY 750m.
