Holcim Ltd said Hansueli Hee, member of the executive committee since 1998, will step down as of October 31, 2008 to retire. The board of directors has decided to enlarge the executive committee and appointed Urs Boehlen, area manager of Holcim, and Patrick Dolberg, Chief Executive Officer of Holcim U.S., new members of the executive committee.
 
Boehlen will be taking over responsibility for Eastern/Southeastern Europe and the CIS/Caspian as of Nov. 1, 2008. As of the same date, Patrick Dolberg will assume responsibility for Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
