Shree Cement said on Wednesday its June shipments rose 27.67 per cent to 609,000t from 477,000t a year earlier.
 
Total shipments between April to June 2008 rose 26.42 per cent to 1.77Mt, from 1.40Mt a year ago, the company said in a statement.
 
The firm has a capacity to produce 8Mta of cement at its plant in the northern state of Rajasthan.
