Prakash Industries Ltd said on Friday it has signed a deal with the government of the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh to set up cement and clinker plants at an investment of INR4.85bn.
 
The cement plant would have an annual capacity of 2Mt while the capacity of the clinker plant would be 1Mt, the company said in a statement.
 
It also said the state government would assist in allotment of coal and limestone blocks to the company for captive use.
