Ryazan region to build cement plant

The government of the Ryazan Region, about 150 miles southeast of Moscow, the administration of the region’s Mikhailovskoye District and the Siberian Cement Holding have signed an agreement on social and economic cooperation. The agreement provides for building a plant to produce cement under a dry technology, tentatively estimated at RUR57bn (US$2.4bn, or €1.55bn). The plant will have an annual capacity of 7.8Mt of cement.
