Plans for new Zambia plant announced

Mumbwa Cement Limited intends to set up a cement manufacturing plant at Natani in Nangoma, Zambia at a cost of US$4m.
 
According to an environmental impact assessment (EIA) report submitted to the Environmental Council of Zambia (ECZ) for review, Mumbwa Cement would create over 200 jobs once operational.
 
The plant would be constructed on 250ha of land at the Natani Nangoma limestone deposit site in Mulyango village of senior Chief Shakumbila.
