Vietnam: Measures taken to avoid cement shortages nationwide

Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has asked cement producers and businesses to ensure that sufficient supply of cement are available to help stabilise the domestic cement market.
 
Accordingly, the Ministry of Construction has asked investors to speed up the construction of cement plants in order to put them into operation at an earlier date and increase the supply of cement to the market.
 
The Ministry of Transport needs to instruct the Shipping Corporation to use every means available for transporting clinker and cement from North to South.
 
The Deputy Prime has also asked provincial and municipal leaders to regularly check the supply of essential goods in their localities.
