Asia Cement Corp  said its wholly-owned unit Sichuan YaDong Cement Corp will resume production in a day or two after inspecting its production facilities following yesterday’s earthquake in China.

A kiln of YaDong Cement, located 70km from the epicenter of the quake in southwest China, was shut down after a power outage caused by the tremor, it said in a filing with the stock exchange.
