Indian cement producer Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd said its April cement shipments rose nine per cent to 266,000t from 244,000t in the year ago period.
 
Cement production in the month rose 13.4 per cent to 262,000t from 231,000t, it said in a statement on Monday.
