Stronger revenue helped Cementos Lima SA post first-quarter net income of PEN52.6m (US$18.9m) compared with PEN41.1m in the same quarter in the previous year.
 
The company said Wednesday that total revenue rose to PEN204.5m in the first quarter compared with PEN189.6m in the same period a year earlier.
 
Cementos Lima is the largest cement producer in Peru.
