ZAB-Industrietechnik und Service GmbH, Germany, member of KHD Group was awarded the contract for engineering and equipment supply for a new cement production plant by JUGPK Novotroizk. The new line will be erected near line 1, awarded to KHD end of 2006 and with similar design, in Novotroizk, 250km southeast from Orenburg. With this decision the client reimposes its faith in KHD technology.
Beside the good quality marl deposits in this region blast furnace slag and other industrial residues, located nearby the plant site, will be used as raw material component.

The contract covers engineering, design and supply of key equipment as well as supervision services for local manufacturing, erection and commissioning. Commissioning is scheduled for the second half year 2010.
