Lafarge will announce a new cost-cutting plan at the end of 2008, the group’s Chief Executive Bruno Lafont says in an interview published Thursday in French business daily La Tribune.
 
The new plan will be implemented after the Excellence 2008 plan ends, to maintain the company’s momentum on the current plan, Lafont says. The plan will be significant and will enable further investments in innovation, he says.
