TurboSonic announces US$1m in gas scrubber orders
11 April 2008

TurboSonic Technologies, Inc announced receipt of US$1m in new orders for SoniChem Chemical Oxidizer and TurboVenturi Gas Scrubbing Systems. These systems use proprietary and patented technologies developed by TurboSonic to remove contaminants from industrial process exhaust streams, significantly reducing emissions from many industrial processes to provide a cleaner environment. The contracts are scheduled for completion in this calendar year.

Edward Spink, TurboSonic’s CEO commented, “Investment in the development of our patented technologies continues to reap rewards. TurboSonic has a history of technical innovations that remove airborne pollutants from industrial process emissions. The patented SoniChem Chemical Oxidizer was developed for the Pulp & Paper Industry, to control odorous sulfur emissions. These new orders are from two new customers in TurboSonic’s traditional industrial markets. Both contracts were awarded because we offered the most competitive package of capital outlay and operating costs. The sales backlog from our existing and new customers continues to grow as TurboSonic expands its customer base and name recognition.”
