Holcim plans to raise the capacity of one of its Serbian units from 2200t to 4000t of clinker from under a EUR82.7m (US$130m) investment plan.  
 
The Novi Popovac cement plant produced 841,500t of cement and 40,000t of the masonry mortar brand Novimal, while  Holcim’s Belgrade factory sold 33,000m3 of concrete in 2007.
