Shree Cement said on Tuesday its March shipments rose 60.08 per cent to 754,000t from 471,000t a year earlier.

Total shipments between April 2007 to March 2008 rose 31.87 per cent to 6.33Mt, from 4.80Mt, the company said in a statement.

The firm has a capacity to produce 8Mta of cement at its plant in the northern state of Rajasthan.
