The clinker plant is operated by its unit Aditya Cement Ltd.
Clinker is an intermediate product used in cement manufacturing.
In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said its new grinding plant in the northern state of Haryana, with a capacity of 1.3Mta, has also begun production.
Grasim’s unit, Vikram Cement Ltd. has started operating its 23MW thermal power plant in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, the statement said.
