Grasim Industries clinker plant begins operations
India’s Grasim Industries Ltd Wednesday said its 3.3Mta clinker plant in the northern state of Rajasthan has begun operations.
The clinker plant is operated by its unit Aditya Cement Ltd.
Clinker is an intermediate product used in cement manufacturing.
In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said its new grinding plant in the northern state of Haryana, with a capacity of 1.3Mta, has also begun production.
Grasim’s unit, Vikram Cement Ltd. has started operating its 23MW thermal power plant in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, the statement said.
