Cement plant project to start soon in central Vietnam

Construction company Truong Thinh will build its first cement plant in central Quang Binh Province with total investment capital reaching almost VND3trn (US$187.5m).

The plant will include two mills in two locations in Tuyen Hoa and Bo Trach districts.

Construction is estimated to be completed within 36 months of being granted a construction license.

In stage one of the project, the investor will set up clinker producing factory with a daily capacity of 5,000t and two grinding mills with an output of 1Mta.

Later, the Tuyen Hoa plant will be expanded and three new grinding mills will be built in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and Vinh Long.

Local authorities have given the project the green light and it is now awaiting a license.
