Ambuja Cements, another Holcim group company, reported 7 per cent rise in production to 1.47Mt (1.37Mt) in February, while dispatches were up nine per cent to 1.48Mt (1.36Mt).
The Aditya Birla group has reported a 5.71 per cent rise in February cement production at 2.75Mt and dispatches were higher 5.28 per cent at 2.73Mt.
Between April and February, the group’s production including UltraTech went up 4.14 per cent at 28.28Mt (27.15Mt), while dispatches increased 4.02 per cent 28.24Mt (27.14Mt).
