Turkish Akcansa announced that it recorded a net profit of TRY 185.8m last year while increasing turnover by 20% YoY to TRY690.6m. 

Akcansa is a joint venture by local  Sabanci Holding and HeidelbergCement. The company raised domestic cement sales by 21% YoY to 5Mt compared to 2006 while ready-mix concrete sales were up by 10% YoY to 3.2Mm3.
