Egypt’s National Cement posted a 33 per cent drop in net profit in the six months to the end of 2007 to E£101.37m (US$18.46m).  
 
The company made £E151.16m in the same period a year earlier, the first half of its financial year. A statement on the stock exchange website gave no further details.
