Cimpor to increase production in Tunisia
Cimpor is planning to increase the production capacity in Tunisia to 2.4Mta, the company announced in a press release.
The move is driven by the recent increase in cement demand in Tunisia and its growth potential, as well as the increasing utilisation of the company’s local production capacity.
The new production lines will come in two phases and will produce up to 2000tpd. Cimpor operates in Tunisia since 1998 through its fully owned subsidiary, Societ Les Ciments de Jbel Oust (CJO).
