Belarus cement production in the first 10 months of 2007 totaled more than 3.2Mt, 10 per cent higher than in the same period in 2006, reported the Ministry of Statistics and Analysis.

October’s cement output amounted to 341,100t, six per cent more than in October 2006.

The production of building materials in the first 10 months of 2007 reportedly totaled 2,589.4 billion rubels in terms of value, a 12.1 per cent YoY increase.
