Sinoma fulfills US$170m contract in Saudi Arabia
Sinoma International Engineering Co, Ltd, responsible for the construction of a 5000t production line for Saudi Arabia-based cement manufacturer Riyadh Cement Company, witnessed the completion of the production line in the Riyadh Region of Saudi Arabia on November 13.
Sinoma International Engineering, a listed arm of China Building Materials Construction Corporation, inked a US$70m of contract with Riyadh Cement to construct a cement production line, with a production capacity of 5000tpd, on March 23, 2005.
The project, which kicked off construction on the day when the contract was signed, started trial operation on May 31, 2007 and mass production in August 2007.
In addition, the other three cement projects Sinoma International Engineering constructed under contracts in the Middle East country are expected to be completed within a short period of time, revealed a senior executive of the Shanghai-traded company. Published under Cement News
