PT Semen Gresik Tuesday said its cement sales in the first 10 months of this year rose 3.1% on year to 13.93Mt, driven by growth in both domestic and export demand.  
 
Indonesia’s largest cement maker said domestic sales rose 1.9% to 12.34Mt, while exports rose 14% to 1.6Mt.  
 
Gresik didn’t provide a reason for its improved performance.  
 
According to data from Indonesia’s cement producers’ association, domestic sales in the January-to-October period rose 7.8% to 34.33Mt, from 31.85Mt in the same period last year.
