Due to equipment upgrades, the Belarus cement industry is expected to produce 9.5Mta of cement by 2010, Minister of Architecture and Construction of Belarus Alexander Seleznev said at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers.,
According to Mr Seleznev , the sector will be modernised in line with the government’s 2006-2010 programme aimed at developing the material and technical basis of the construction industry. “The implementation of the programme is underway; we have determined sources of financing and have drawn up relevant business plans,” Alexander Seleznev said.
