The Mumbai-based company, in which Swiss cement maker Holcim controls about 41 percent, said production in the month was 1.76Mt, up from 1.68 million tonnes a year ago.
ACC has an annual cement making capacity of 19.9Mt, making it India’s single biggest cement maker.
Grasim Industries has 14.1Mt capacity, while its unit UltraTech Cement has 17Mt.
