Oman Cement Company (OCC) signed on October 29, 2007 an agreement with China National Building Material Equipment Corporation (CBMEC) for installing a third production line at a cost of US$162m (EUR112.5m).  
 
The new line’s daily production capacity will be 4000t of clinker.  
 
The project is to be completed within 25 months.
