Shree Cement to set up 6Mt plant in Madhya Pradesh
Shree Cement Ltd today signed an MoU with the Madhya Pradesh government for setting up a 6Mt cement plant at Katni at an investment of Rs 2000 crore.
A company spokesman said that the a 50 MW power plant would also come up there.
Shree Cement at present has a production capacity of 8Mta at its plant located in Rajasthan. On capacity addition, the total production capacity would go upto 10Mt by the year 2012.
The company expects a turnover of Rs 2500 crore during the current financial year, and Rs 3500 crore in 2008-09.
