Cement sales in India rose 3.7 per cent in September to 12.7Mt from 12.2Mt in the year ago period, the Cement Manufacturers’ Association said.  
 
Production rose 4.9 percent to 12.8Mt last month, against 12.2Mt a year earlier, according to provisional figures compiled by the Cement Manufacturers’ Association.
