Building a township finds place in Jai Balaji`s mega project

Steel maker Jai Balaji Industries plans to build an integrated township at Raghunathpur, dist. Purulia, West Bengal, reports Business Standard.  
                   
The township will be spread across an area of 500-600 acres and will be a part of the 4000-acre plot where the company is erecting an integrated steel plant, cement plant and a captive power plant at cost of Rs 160 billion.

The steel plant, cement plant and the power plant will have capacities of 5 million tons per annum, 3 million tons per annum and 1,215 MW per annum respectively.

Shares of the company closed up Rs 5.8, or 3.15%, at Rs 190.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 17,817.
