Sibirskiy Cement breaks ground on new plant

Russian holding Sibirskiy Cement has broken ground on a Euro 220m cement
plant in the Yashkinsky district of the Kemerovo Region, the company
said Tuesday.The company plans to launch the plant in three years. The
plant’s annual production capacity is expected to amount to 2.6 million
tonnes of cement.

Founded in 2002, Sibirskiy Cement is based in the Kemerovo Region. The
holding includes five cement plants in the Siberian Federal District. The
holding’s output in 2006 amounted to 4.383Mt of cement.
