The plant is being set up by Al Katrana Cement Company (AKCC) of Jordan, a group company of Arabian Cement Co.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-2009.
The scope of the project encompasses design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the complete electrics and automation systems.
