ABB India bags Rs 93-cr order for cement plant in Jordan
ABB Ltd has announced that ABB India has won a Rs 93.3-crore order from KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Germany to provide a turnkey electrics and automation solution for a 500tpd capacity greenfield cement plant at Katrana in Jordan.
The plant is being set up by Al Katrana Cement Company (AKCC) of Jordan, a group company of Arabian Cement Co.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-2009.
The scope of the project encompasses design, engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of the complete electrics and automation systems. Published under Cement News
