Colombian cement sales up 5.4 per cent YoY Aug 2007
Sales of grey cement in Colombia stood at 768,375t in August 2007, up 5.4 per cent YoY according to data of the national cement producers’ institute ICPC.
The volume represents an all time monthly record, despite the growth rate has been one of the lowest
since the beginning of the year.
Grey cement sales rose by 11.7 per cent YoY reaching 5.856Mt in January to August 2007. The result stands close to the sales of 5.953Mt registered in the same period of the previous year.
Sales in the period August 2006 to August 2007 totalled 8.62Mt marking a record-high annual increase of 7.2 per cent. Published under Cement News
