The Brazilian industry of cement recorded in August its best monthly results in 54 years of survey performed by the National Cement Industry Syndicate (Snic), with sales of 4.25Mt to the domestic market.

Based on that, the entity already considers unreal its initial forecast that sales in the sector would rise between 5% and 6% in 2007, and it will increase the projection for this year.
