Hungarian cement producer Nostra Cement, a subsidiary of Austrian construction group Strabag, has started the construction of a HUF45bn (US$241m) cement factory in Kiralyegyhaza, southern Hungary.  
 
The factory is to be completed by 2010. Strabag plans to use half of the factory’s production, which is seen at up to 850,000t of cement, for own projects in Hungary, while the remaining is to be sold.
