CMSB told the stock exchange it will acquire Sarawak Clinker from Maybach Investment Co and Mirzan Mahathir. Maybach owns 67 percent of Sarawak Clinker and Mirzan the rest.
CMSB said the acquisition is meant to enhance its cement manufacturing operations.
Trading in CMSB shares was suspended pending the announcement and will resume in the afternoon session, the company said.
