UAE: Gebr. Pfeiffer AG wins contract for the supply of gypsum calcination mill

Gebr. Pfeiffer AG has been appointed to supply an MPS 225 GC mill for gypsum calcination to the United Arab Emirates via Grenzebach BSH, Bad Hersfeld. 

The mill, which is to be set up in Abu Dhabi, will be capable of drying, grinding and calcining 60 t/h of plaster. Ground to a fineness of 3 % R 0.200µm, the plaster will be used to produce gypsum plasterboard. 

This recent order reflects the successful cooperation between Gebr. Pfeiffer AG and Grenzebach BSH, Bad Hersfeld, the beginning of which was marked by the supply of the first gypsum plasterboard plant featuring a Pfeiffer MPS vertical roller mill to Brasil in 1998. The mill for Abu Dhabi will be the 5th gypsum calcination mill to be delivered to a gypsum plasterboard factory.
