Egyptian Torah Cement registered a net profit increase to E£203.3m (US$36.1m) in the first half of 2007, from E£180.4m (US$32m) in the year-ago period, Cairo and Alexandria Stock Exchanges (CASE) said on August 9, 2006.  
 
In 2006, Torah Cement posted a net profit of E£231.5m (US$41.1m) against E£763m (US$135.4m) in 2005.
