Egyptian cement company Misr Cement Qena made a net profit of E£147.8m (US$26.2m) in the first half of 2007, 23 per cent up on the same period of 2006, the stock exchange said on Tuesday.  
 
The company’s net profit in the January-June period of 2006 was E£120.5m, it said.
