Vietnam’s BIDV insures Binh Phuoc cement plant
BIDV Insurance Co (BIC) signed a VND4 trillion (US$250m) deal with Ha Tien 1 Cement Co to insure the Binh Phuoc Cement Plant.
"Contract bidding to choose an insurance company for Binh Phuoc Cement Plant took place publicly so we could select the best company with competitive premiums for this very large cement plant in the south," Ngo Minh Lang, director of Ha Tien 1 Cement, was quoted on BIC’s website.
The 4.8 trillion cement plant will produce about 2Mta when it is complete.
