Kryvyi Rih Tsement increases output by 7.3%

In May, Kryvyi Rih Tsement (Dnipropetrovsk region), one of the five largest cement producers in Ukraine, increased cement output by 7.3% or 11,300 tons, compared to May 2006 to 165,400t.  
 
Ukrainian News learned this from the press service of the company.  
 
According to the statement, in May the company increased clinker output by 7.8% or by 8,200 tons to 112,900t compared to the relevant period of the previous year.  
 
In April Kryvyi Rih Tsement increased cement production by 2.1% or 2,970t to 147,572t, compared to the same period of 2006.  
 
At the same time, in April the company increased clinker production in 3.29 times, compared to April 2006, to 106,244t.  
 
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in March, Kryvyi Rih Tsement increased cement output by 17.9% or 19,100t, compared to March 2006 to 125,600t.  
 
In March the company increased clinker output by 3.37 times or by 63,900t to 90,800t compared to the relevant period of the previous year.  
 
Kryvyi Rih Tsement finished 2006 with net profits of UAH 57.394 million, having increased net revenue by 25% or UAH 92.393 million to UAH 461.779 million, compared to 2005.  
 
In 2006 the company increased cement output by 5.7% or 80,200 tons to 1,486,700 tons, as compared to 2005, and clinker output - by 4,8% or 46,500 tons to 1,016,300 tons, as compared to 2005.  
 
The enterprise has a design annual capacity of 1.5 million tons of cement.  
 
HeidelbergCement holds 79.6% of the shares in Kryvyi Rih Cement while Foyil Services Limited (Cyprus) holds 10%.
