India’s ACC cement despatches up 9.67% in June
The on-going monsoon, considered as slack season for cement companies, has failed to dampen sales of ACC.
Sales stood at 1.7Mt in June, up 9.67 per cent from 1.55Mt in the same period of the previous year, as per the company’s notice to the stock exchange. It produced 1.7Mt of cement compared to 1.53Mt last year, a rise of 11 per cent.
ACC’s January-June despatches were 10.20Mt, up 5.48 per cent from 9.67Mt in the same period last year.
Cement production during the period was up 5.47 per cent to 10.21Mt against 9.68Mt in the same period last year.
