The Investment Commission under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs said it approved 12 applications for China-bound investments involving a total of US$214.76m.

Of the total US$214.76m approved, one application was from Asia Cement Corp for investing US$15m  in its Hubei unit and a separate US$23.5m in its Huanggang unit.
