Cemex and Kemeri national park sign long-term cooperation agreement
Cemex is to sign a long-term cooperation agreement with Kemeri national park which is to aim towards the preservation of the park’s environment, improve infrastructure and educational opportunities for locals and visitors.
One of the first projects will be the construction of a tower for the vieiwing of birds and the surrounding environment by lake Lilija .
Cemex entered Latvia in 2005 when they purchased the cement factory in the town of Broceni. The company is planning to build a new cement factory in Latvia by 2009. Published under Cement News
