Irish construction materials specialist CRH has joined forces with Jelf Brico House, the local owner of 10 DIY stores in Spain, to enter the Spanish do-it-yourself market.  
 
CRH, which has a 26.3 per cent stake in Spanish cement manufacturer Uniland, has acquired a majority stake in Jelf Brico House. The 10 stores will each cover an area of some 1,000 sq m.
