Hunan Chengxi Huazhong Cement Company put its RMB270M 1.2Mta new-type dry-processed rotating kiln-use cement production line into formal operation on May 28th, according to a statement by the company. The company started construction on an additional 1.8Mta dry-processed cement production line in 2007, expected to be completed by the end of 2008.
 
Meanwhile, Zhangping Hongshi Cement Company’s 4Mta cement project, one of Fujian Province’s key projects in 2007, went into formal operation on May 28th. With a total investment of RMB1.02bn, the project includes construction of two 5000tpd new-type dry-processed rotating kiln-use cement and clinker production lines.
