New order for KHD, Turkey
Denizli Cimento Sanayii Ticaret A.S., Turkey, partly owned by the Eren Holding and CRH Group, has awarded KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Germany the contract for a capacity increase of cement mill 1 at its cement plant in the Aegean region of Turkey. Targets set for this upgrade are:
• maximum possible production
• minimum power consumption
• short downtime for changeover.
Capacity of the existing clinker grinding system 1 will be increased up to 2100tph CEM I 42.5 R3500cm²/g acc. to Blaine. For this purpose a pregrinding system in front of the existing mill will be installed and will be operated in semi-finish grinding mode.
The contract for engineering and supply includes as key plant components, all designed and delivered by KHD:
• Roller Press RP20-170/180
• V-Separator VS 96/26
• SEPMASTER® high efficiency separator, type SKS-V 3250.
Commissioning is scheduled for the first half of 2009.
