Holcim (Bulgaria) AD has awarded KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Germany the contract for increasing the capacity of the existing raw material grinding plant at its Beli Izvor cement plant, near the city of Vraca, Bulgaria.

Capacity of the existing RM1 closed circuit system shall be increased from 125tph up to >260tph by installing a Roller Press + VSK®-separator system for pre-/ finish-grinding and drying.

KHD´s scope of supply and services includes the supply of equipment and machinery, rendering of services and the supervision of erection and commissioning. Core components of the new system are:
• Roller Press RP13-140/140
• VSK®separator 80/20-3000 and cyclones and system fans.
