China’s Sinoma wins CNY649.48m contracts from Taiwan Cement units

China’s Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said it has won contracts worth a combined CNY649.48m for the construction of a total of four waste heat power generation facilities for two units of Taiwan Cement Corp. In a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company said it will build waste heat power generation facilities for the cement production lines of Taiwan Cement (Yingde) Co Ltd and Taiwan Cement (Guigang) Co Ltd, with the Yingde and Guigang units getting two power facilities each. The facilities will each have capacity of producing 21,000kW of electricity. Construction of the two power generation facilities for the Yinde unit will be completed in 16-18 months, while construction for Guigang unit will be completed in 20-22 months.
